Asia Lounge!

Two and a half years ago I did this cover for a compilation series called Asia Lounge. I know a guy who worked at the record label at that time and for whom I did a couple of covers. After he left the company I thought the whole thing was dumped. So I was quite surprised when I recently discovered an ad for the album in a magazine. So it made it its way in the end.

Last week I spotted it it in a record shop window. Well, today I would make some things quite differently, but that's how it looks. Thought I share it anyway.

Moonlit Sailor!

This is another sailor inspired by my trip to Hamburg. This time not in the bright sunlight, but in the dead of the night. I wonder what he's up to ...

Rotring Pen Sribbles!

I recently bought a rotring art pen. But I'm not quite sure if I like it. It doesn't work on a blue pencil drawing and also not on every paper. So I did this one straight in ink. Actually it looks a little bit uli-meyerish who is a master with this pen. Anyway I gave it a try.

This second one happend by accident while polishing up the drawing in photoshop. Somehow I liked it - and here it is.

Walking Sailor!

Last week I spent a sunny day in the wonderful city of Hamburg together with Mr.Thies Schwarz. Inspired by that I took this scribble from the drawer and threw some colours on it.
